Leg 3 of The Ocean Race 2022-23 was truly one for the history books, taking the sailors from Cape Town to Itajaí, Brazil, on a monstrous 14,500 nautical mile Southern Ocean passage. It was the longest leg in the race’s 50-year history, taking the winning team 34 days to complete.
