Beginner mountaineering course around Mont Blanc is a 4-day course perfect for all aspiring mountaineers that want to learn the basics to become autonomous. Here is the day-to-day breakdown:

Day 1️⃣ Arrival: start from Courmayeur and approach (via ferrata) "Rifugio Monzino" in Val Veny. Technical workshop in the afternoon.

Day 2️⃣  Climbing: rock training around "Rifugio Monzino". Learn and improve alpine rock-climbing techniques.

Day 3️⃣ Approach and training: descent to Courmayeur and take the Mont Blanc Skyway (cable car) to reach "Rifugio Torino". Another technical workshop, then dinner, and finally it's time to rest for tomorrow.

Day 4️⃣ Ascent and departure: get roped up, wear your crampons, ice axe on hand, and it's time for your first glacier walk toward Summit the Col d'Entrèves or Col. Then descent to Courmayeur and goodbyes.

Rifugio Monzino 🛖 This a refuge located in Val Veny, Courmayeur at an altitude of 2,590 meters. It is located in an excellent position on the rocky ridge that divides the Brouillard Glacier from the Freney Glacier.

 

Rifugio Torino 🛖 This is an iconic refuge located at an altitude of 3,375 meters. Starting from here start many iconic routes. Among all, you can summit the Mont Blanc from the Italian side or attempt the Dent du Géant.
