1. A secret crag in Liguria, Italy |
There's a secret place where I keep returning to at least once a year..it's a small crag in the heart of the Montemarcello Park in Liguria. Superb rock, safe bolting, and a wide range of routes from 5a to 7c.
Tip: always bring a good beer for a proper Italian aperitivo at sunset 😉

2. A new climbing Reality Show...for or against? |
Have you heard about “The Climb”? It's a brand new TV show produced by the climber Chris Sharma and the actor Jason Mamoa. 10 amateur climbers will compete in physical and mental tests for a (very big) cash prize...I'm still trying to figure out if this could be a revolutionary format or just something we will forget very soon. The upside? Maybe we'll discover new, different climbing destinations in the world.
What do you guys think? Revolutionary stuff or.. just garbage?

3. The trip of the week!
|
The Mapo Tapo team always explores destinations off-the-beaten-track... and very few things are more enjoyable than a proper climbing trip in the Wadi Rum desert. Well, I think it is at the top of my wish list!
