1. Can passion and work work together?

Since I have been here, from the very beginning of Mapo Tapo, I've had  the privilege of working with some of the most passionate outdoor sports enthusiasts I know. I've been doing this for a while now, and I have to tell you - it's the best job in the world! Mixing passion and work is simply amazing, but it's not without its challenges. That's why I wanted to take a moment to talk about how I approach this balance.

For me, it's incredibly important to be able to hit the trails or climb a mountain during the weekends. It's a way to recharge my batteries and stay motivated during the week. Plus, it gives me the energy I need to keep pushing Mapo Tapo in the direction we want to go. 

Starting a company can be a lot like pushing a huge, heavy rock up a hill. There are days when it feels like you're making no progress at all, but then suddenly things start to move and everything falls into place. And when you see the smiles on our travelers' faces, or hear that our guides feel empowered and valued, it makes every tough moment completely worth it.

2. Helping guides with communication and technology

Here's a quick story for you: we've worked with hundreds of guides from all over the world and helped thousands of travelers plan trips to some of the most stunning destinations on the planet. Our guides are the heart and soul of Mapo Tapo - they share their passion and knowledge to make each trip truly unforgettable. 

At Mapo Tapo, we may seem like a tour operator specializing in outdoor sports trips, but in reality, we're so much more. We are a technology company at heart, with a mission to empower guides and make their lives easier. By offering support with legal, administrative, and insurance matters, we take the burden off their shoulders so they can focus on what they love and do best - leading incredible outdoor adventures.

We also strive to help our guides reach a wider audience and gain recognition in the outdoor sports community. And that is what you can see in the Mapo Tapo website :)

Finally, we also provide them with the digital infrastructure they need to manage their day-to-day operations. From scheduling trips to handling inquiries, we've got their back every step of the way.
