Six days to go from resort rider to backcountry explorer. Based in Zell am See, a lakeside town tucked between snowy peaks, you’ll learn to tour with expert mountain guides and never more than six people per guide. Skiers and splitboarders welcome: we’ll cover skinning, kick turns and smooth transitions, plus the avalanche safety basics every tourer needs, from beacon searches to reading terrain.

Learn, climb, repeat. We start easy in Hinterglemm with rescue drills and a gentle first climb, then step it up on Zwölferkogel (2,317 m) and in the wild Rauris Valley. The big day is Kalkbretterkopf (2,411 m): 1,200+ metres of climbing and a descent you’ll have well and truly earned. We wrap it all up on the Kitzsteinhorn glacier, skinning up to 2,875 m above the clouds.
