I'm Mario, the master craftsman of Kali.
Today, I'd like to share some reflections on our work with you.
In Kali Shoes, authenticity is a fundamental value, both in production and communication.
Lately, I've been contemplating the label "Made In Italy". Though prestigious worldwide, it doesn't always tell the whole truth.
As highlighted in Giuseppe Iorio's book "Made in Italy: the dark side of fashion", this label can conceal unethical realities. Some brands use low-cost labor and only assemble a small portion of the product in Italy, still maintaining the appearance of luxury.
That's why I'm proud to emphasize that our uniqueness doesn't just reside in the "Made in Italy" label: we are entirely HANDMADE IN ITALY, 100%!
All production phases happen here, from design to realization, faithfully following Italian artisan traditions.
Each boot is the result of our artisans' skillful hands, meaning you'll never find two identical pairs. The slight variation in stitching or leather cutting is the hallmark of our authentic craftsmanship.
I like to think that you can recognize this signature every time you hold a pair of our beautiful boots.
