Mount Olympus isn't just Greece's highest mountain; it's also a place full of myths and history.
Mount Olympus boasts 52 peaks, deep gorges, and a main plateau around 2700 meters high. The three primary peaks are Mytikas (West Peak), Skolio (Middle Peak), and Stefani (East Peak).

Day 1οΈβ£ Arrival: hike from Litochoro to Spilios Agapitos Refuge.

Day 2οΈβ£ Summit: reach Mytikas, the highest summit of Mount Olympus and descent to the Musses Plateau to reach the Petrostrouga Refuge.

Day 3οΈβ£ Departure: descent to Litochoro via the Gortsia trail.

Spilios Agapitos Refuge π This refuge is a key stop on the Mount Olympus trekking route, situated at an altitude of 2,100 meters. This stone-built shelter can accommodate up to 110 guests in its spacious setup.
Petrostrouga Refuge π This refuge is nestled in a beautiful forest of beech trees and old-growth rhododendrons at an altitude of 1,920 meters. This stone refuge, restored through the voluntary efforts of the Hellenic Rescue Team, accommodates up to 72 guests.
