1๏ธโฃ Tour du Mont Blanc (TMB) - Full
Starting from Chamonix, you will trek through 170 km (105.6 miles) and 10,000 m (32808 ft) of elevation gain across France ๐ซ๐ท, Switzerland ๐จ๐ญ and Italy ๐ฎ๐น. Usually done in 7-10 days, this trek is suitable for experienced hikers with excellent fitness levels.

1๏ธโฃ Mont Blanc Summit - Goรปter Route - Mountaineering
Starting from ๐ซ๐ท Nid d'Aigle, accessible via the Tramway du Mont-Blanc from Saint-Gervais, you will summit Mont Blanc in two days after spending the night at Goรปter hut. This route has limited technical difficulty despite crossing the "Death Couloir." The route can get pretty crowded in peak season.
2๏ธโฃ Mont Blanc Summit - Gonnella Route - Mountaineering
Starting from ๐ฎ๐น Courmayeur, you will summit Mont Blanc in two days after spending the night at Gonnella hut. This route has limited technical difficulty, but it involves extensive glacier travel and more elevation gain. Compared to the more popular Goรปter route, this one is less crowded.
3๏ธโฃ Clocher-Clochetons Traverse - Rock climbing
Starting from ๐ซ๐ท Plan de lโAiguille, Chamonix, this 8-pitch traverse combines moderate slab and crack climbing. The difficulty is contained, 5c (French scale), making the climb suitable for intermediate climbers looking to push their limits in alpine terrain.
4๏ธโฃ Frison-Roche, Brรฉvent - Rock climbing
Starting from ๐ซ๐ท Planpraz, Chamonix, this 6-pitch climb is the perfect introduction to alpine climbing. The difficulty is moderate, 6a (French scale), making the climb suitable for intermediate climbers looking to get acquainted with alpine terrain.

๐ก Things to know if you're planning a Mont Blanc adventure
๐ For hiking, mountaineering, and via ferratas, May to September are the best months. For ski-touring and freeride, winter and spring are the best.
๐ญ If you want to summit Mont Blanc and are not used to high altitude, spend at least a week to get acclimatized.
๐ Mont Blanc is crowded! 30,000 adventurers reach the summit yearly.
๐ฎโโ๏ธ If you want to summit from the Goรปter route, since 2018, French law obliges you to book your overnight stay at the Goรปter refuge.
๐ธ Bring cash for your expenses in the refuges. We recommend at least 100EUR and 100CHF.
๐ฐ 10-day Self-guided tours require a budget ranging fromโฌ500 to โฌ1000. Meanwhile, guided tours can range from โฌ1500 to โฌ2000.
๐ Remember you will be at high altitude most of the time. We recommend preparing physically and purchasing rescue and accident insurance if anything happens.
