WoodWatch: The final quarter of the year

Hi! Jonay, CEO of WoodWatch here.

October has always felt like a bit of a turning point to me. The year is moving into its final quarter. Three months left.

I think this is usually the moment when we start looking at everything we wanted to do this year. The goals we set, the plans we made, the things that somehow never made it onto the list.

For a long time, I used to see these last three months as a final push.

But these days, I try to look at them a little differently.

Instead of asking myself “What do I still need to accomplish?”, I find myself asking:

“How do I want to spend these last three months?”

How do I want to feel?

What do I want to make more time for?

Who do I want to spend that time with?

Maybe you want to slow down a little. Maybe you want to be more present with the people around you. Maybe there's something you've been putting off that you'd really like to make time for before the year ends.

For me, it's a good reminder that time doesn't need to be filled to be meaningful.

Sometimes the best moments are the ones that weren't planned at all.

And maybe that's also why I enjoy this time of year so much. Everything slows down a little. The light changes, the leaves start turning and even the colors around us feel warmer.

It's also the time of year when I naturally find myself reaching for my Legacy City.

The warm tones of the wood remind me of autumn, and somehow it just feels right on my wrist this time of year. It's become one of those pieces that I associate with a particular season and with all the moments that come with it.

As we enter these final three months, I hope you give yourself a moment to think about more than what you want to get done.

Think about how you want to live them. Because before we know it, we'll be looking back at 2026. And I hope we'll remember not just what we accomplished, but how we spent our time along the way.

Enjoy the season,

Jonay
