The Friday Pause

The first weekend of spring

Spring officially starts today.

The days stretch a little longer.
The air feels a little softer.
And slowly, the world begins to wake up again.

Not everything blooms at once.
But the first signs are everywhere if you look closely.

Here are three spring things to try this weekend.

Go Look for the First Signs of Spring

Take a slow walk somewhere green. A park. A canal. A quiet street with trees.

Look for the small things that weren’t there a few weeks ago. The first blossoms, fresh green leaves, flowers pushing through the ground.

Spring doesn’t arrive all at once.
It arrives in details.

Start a Spring Tradition

Invite someone to do something simple to mark the start of the season.

Buy flowers for the table.
Get ice cream even if it’s slightly too cold.
Sit outside for a drink just because you can again.

It doesn’t need to be big.

Sometimes the smallest traditions are the ones you remember most.

A Question for You

What is one thing you want to do before this spring is over?

Visit somewhere new.
Spend more time outside.
See more sunsets.
Slow down a little.

Keep it in mind. Spring always feels long at the start until suddenly it isn’t.
