Hi! Jonay, CEO of WoodWatch here.
The past week I’ve been reflecting on the last almost 13 years. We’ve been building WoodWatch since 2013 now.
And honestly… what a ride it’s been.
From the early days to where we are today, it’s never just been about creating products. It’s been about building something that actually means something — to us, and to you.
When I look back, there are two things I’m especially proud of.
The first is the impact we’ve made together. We’ve now planted over 575,000 trees.
But it’s not just about the number. These trees help rebuild ecosystems, support families, and create long-term income for communities. It’s something that keeps growing, quietly, in the background — and it all started with a single idea.
The second is what we create. Not just watches, but pieces with a purpose. Every watch is handcrafted from natural wood, meaning no two are ever the same. But beyond that, they carry a reminder. To slow down. To live in the moment. To choose something more personal in a world that often feels mass-produced.
And over the years, I’ve seen something else happen. More and more of you are choosing these watches as gifts. Engraved with a date. A name. Sometimes just a few simple words like “I love you.” Those are the pieces that stay. Not just because of how they’re made but because of what they carry.
That’s what I still care about most. And I just want to say, I truly appreciate you being part of this journey.
