Fresh Farm: Special bindings 💫 Fixed properly to the board.

Intermediate All-Mountain Bindings

What does intermediate mean? Heh, if you ask me I'd tell you to do at least a couple of edge turns following the sidecut but if you ask the guy who just came in wanting a Super-Ultra-Team-GigaPro it's probably being able to take the skilift without falling off.

The intermediate bindings support you when you want some horsepower but don't slam into the track if you try some freestyle manoeuvres.

Freestyle Bindings

Let's start with the assumption that 99% of us riders can ride with all-mountain or freestyle bindings and be fine regardless, the key difference being the ability to flex laterally to allow for more comfortable freestyle manoeuvres without taking away too much of the force transmission speed from front to back and vice versa.

Some of the most popular models are:

There are models that allow an even flex over almost the entire base of the binding, they are called ‘soft’ and are usually preferred by jibbers. They are excellent for medium/low speed dicking around.

Carving Bindings

We call them that but in reality some people prefer them for freeriding to others for freestyle, let's say they are very reactive bindings that instantly transmit force from one point to another on the base.
