Hi In Orlando, Florida, Michael's home revolves around the outside: the grill on the patio, the pool a step from the porch, the lawn running down to the lake. He lives here with his wife and two kids, and outside is also where he spends his workdays. |

Some light you just can't cover |

Michael works remotely and shoots his videos on the patio, where natural light is a tool of the trade. The pool, on the other hand, gets sun all day, and in the middle of the day the pool's edge becomes hard to use: with two little kids, that means giving up the afternoon. The shade was needed over the water, not on the patio. |

So he chose a rectangular EZ Breez, roughly 16 × 20 ft, with two EZ Mast poles anchored past the pool's edge. The fabric is micro-perforated and lets warm air rise, so it stays breathable under the sail even on windless days. |

|
Today the shade reaches the pool's edge and stops right there. The patio kept its light, and the afternoon belongs to the family again. |
