Maanta: The one thing František added to his glamping site

He left the rest as it was. Now guests stay out on the patio even when it rains. ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏
Maanta Stories · Glamping in Luhačovice, Czech Republic

At František’s glamping site,

the patio stays in use even when the sky clouds over

Hi

František took over a glamping site in the hills of the Czech Republic and, together with his children Klárka and Franta, stayed true to the original idea: sleeping with the forest right outside the window, without giving up comfort.
Choosing the shade sail

The patio had no shade, and whatever they added had to look like it had always been there. They chose a waterproof Solaria Lean shade sail in Ivory, anchored to the lodge on one side and supported by an Alu Simple Pole on the other. When the sky clouds over in the afternoon, guests stay outside.

“We didn’t want to add anything that felt out of place. We wanted something that already seemed part of the setting.”

— František, Luhačovice

Today the patio is shaded in July and dry in October, and the forest is still there whenever you look around.
