WoodWatch: Why we decided to plant trees 13 years ago...

Hi, Jonay here! CEO of WoodWatch.

With World Environment Day coming up, I've been reflecting on one of the decisions we made when we started WoodWatch back in 2013.

From day one, we knew we wanted to work with natural materials. Wood wasn't just part of our products, it was part of the reason the brand existed in the first place.

But that also raised an important question:

If we're using resources from nature, how can we give something back?

That's why we decided that every order would help plant a tree.

At the time, there weren't many brands talking about sustainability. And to be honest, it wasn't a marketing strategy for us. It was simply something we believed was the right thing to do.

Over the years, I've seen many companies add tree planting to their marketing campaigns. For some, it may just be a nice slogan.

For us, it's always been something much bigger.

The trees planted through our partners don't just absorb carbon or restore forests. They help farming families create sustainable incomes, improve soil quality, grow food, restore biodiversity, and build stronger communities.

Today, thanks to customers like you, we've helped plant more than 575,000 trees.

That's 575,000 small actions that together have created a real impact.

And because World Environment Day is an important moment for us every year, we're celebrating with something special.

For a limited time, enjoy up to 20% OFF our collection, and we'll plant 3 trees with every order instead of 1.

If you've been considering a new watch, this week your purchase will have three times the impact.

Thank you for being part of the journey.
