Hi! Jonay here, CEO of WoodWatch.
I’ve been thinking about something lately: what does time well spent actually mean?
For me, it’s rarely the big things.
It’s a long dinner with friends where nobody looks at the time. A weekend away. Being outside. A good conversation. Or simply having an afternoon with nowhere you need to be.
Running a business makes it very easy to fill every hour of the day. There’s always another email to answer, another idea to work on, another thing that could be done.
But being busy and spending your time well aren’t necessarily the same thing.
I think that’s something I’ve come to appreciate more over the years.
It’s also quite fitting that we make watches for a living. We create something designed to keep track of time, while the moments that matter most are usually the ones where you forget about it completely.
So I wanted to leave you with a simple question today:
What does time well spent mean to you?
And maybe, this week, make a little more room for exactly that.
