Pergolas and gazebos

When shade
becomes structure.

Hi

A shade sail gives you shade from April through September.

A pergola does something different: it reshapes the space and turns your patio into a place where you stay longer, a few extra hours every evening, or all year round, depending on what you choose.

It's a purchase you think through, measure, and plan. Here's where to start.

The pergola

01 · Lyra T6

Lyra is the bioclimatic pergola selected and guaranteed by Centro Stile Maanta, our in-house style office in Italy: the T6 aluminum of the frame is 20% stronger than the industry standard. The adjustable louvers let you fine-tune light and shade whenever you want; when it rains, it closes on its own in 20 seconds, and when evening comes it lights up, with the built-in lighting.

With the zip closures and the sliding glass panels it becomes a real room, even in winter.

The gazebo

02 · Maistra

Maistra is the freestanding gazebo with a sliding, tilting roof, designed and built in our workshop in Gambellara. It's made for the warmer months: it needs no ground fixings, withstands winds of up to 62 km/h depending on how you install it, and when summer ends, you take it down and put it away.

The canopy is waterproof, and the rotating-pin locking system keeps the frame steady even when the wind picks up, while leaving the roof free to tilt and follow the sun.

Why does a pergola cost more than a shade sail?

Aluminum needs no maintenance, won't rust, and is unaffected by mold: a pergola is built to stay outside all year, for years. The price comes down to what you won't have to redo.

PS: Already have a pergola? The Bugna eyelet cover fits it in the 4 Maanta fabrics, custom-made in 5 days.

Warm regards,
Elisa from the Maanta team
